Nothing New
Saturday, 18 November 2006
Nothing new to report really. I did go to see An Inconvenient Truth, the Al Gore movie. I highly recommend it to anyone. I thought it was great. It got me thinking which is always good. The United States is a huge consumer. We use about 75% of the world’s resources and have more trash than an other country. Here I am now in New Zealand, in a country that seems to be doing everything right, yet they have a gigantic hole in their ozone layer. It seems quite unfair to me. On a sunny day here my skin gets extremely hot. It feels very different than the California sun I’m used to. So, see the movie if you haven’t and RECYCLE!! Also, a great book to read is Illusions by Richard Bach. It’s an all time favorite of mine. It makes you realize the potential of your imagination. I’ve been playing a lot of music and trying to stay dry with all of this rain. If a dry spell comes along, I hop out to the garden to do a little weeding.
